GREENVILLE – Wilma June Wilcox, 93, of Greenville, died Monday, February 12, 2024 at 6AM at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville. She was born February 28, 1930 to Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Bates in Muhlenberg County. She was a long-time salesperson at Kirtley’s Furniture in Central City and an Event Planner for Christmas Around the World. She won many exciting trips overseas with her business. She was a member of Central City First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold E. Wilcox; two sons, Ronnie Wilcox, and Walter Wilcox; daughter, Doris Robertson; and two sisters, Betty Moore, and Irene Duncan.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Wilcox Hunt of Greenville; granddaughter, Jenifer Hunt of Greenville; grandson, Josh (Camille) Hunt of Kevil; four great-grandchildren, Carver Hunt, Kaysen Hunt, Harper Hunt, and Kobe Holder; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday February 15, 2024 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Kevin Reed officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
