BEECH CREEK – Wilma Jean Wicker, 94, of Beech Creek, died Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 2:06AM at her residence.  Mrs. Wicker was born October 30, 1931, in Muhlenberg County.  She was formerly a CNA at Bordeaux Hospital in Nashville, TN, and was a member of Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church.  She enjoyed sewing quilts, cooking, spending time with family, and helping people.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Fannie Mitchell; daughter, Rita Alexander; son, Keith Wayne Wicker; sisters, Deloise Marsh, Pansy Evans, and Anna Terry; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Campbell, Graci Donovan, and Raeleigh Donovan.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Crystal (Mark) Campbell, Laura (Brian) Warran, Scott (Erin) Dwyer, and Danielle (James) Davis; great-grandchildren, Abigail (Zachery) Phillips, Trenton Campbell, Noah Campbell, Bailey Warran, Dylan Warran, Kailey Warran, Jaylan Warran, Haven Warran, Leslie Warran, Alissa Warran, Victoria Warran, Savannah Dwyer, Olivia Dwyer, Brittany Adams, Colby Adams, and Destiny Adams; great-great-grandchildren, Waylen Phillips, Wesley Phillips, and soon to be Baby Marlow Warran; siblings, Harold (Carol) Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Norma Norton, Carol Lee (Betty) Mitchell, Shirley (Charles) Perry, and Charlotte Gail (Eddie) Agent; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 3:00PM at Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church in Greenville, with Bro. Carl Hoover officiating.  Burial in Old Jackson Cemetery in Greenville.  Visitation will be Sunday after 2:00PM at Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church.  Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
