CENTRAL CITY – Willis (Bill) Eugene White, age 85, of Central City, died Thursday, November 2, 2017, surrounded by family. Mr. White was born September 1, 1932 in Muhlenberg County. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Following his service, he became a retired coal miner and remained a long-standing member of Woodson Missionary Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and father who cherished spending time with his family and friends, loved fishing and devoted his free time to serving others in the community. He was a member and Past Master of the Bremen Masonic Lodge #596 from 1961 until his passing as well as a member of the Shriners. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 39 years, Naomi Louise White; second wife, Joan Beasley White and daughter, Cindy Epley. He is survived by his son, Timmy White (Joyce) of Bremen, KY, daughter, Tally Shaw (Bryan) of Atlanta, GA, son-in-law, Lynn Epley (Lorraine) of Atlanta, GA; Grandchildren, Lindsey Reilly (Brian), Chase Epley (Jessica), Spencer Shaw & Connor Shaw – all of Atlanta, GA, and Jordan White of Luzerne, KY; great grandchildren Ashlynn & Hunter Reilly and Maverick Epley of Atlanta, GA. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 5, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Nick Duvall and Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 after 5:00PM at the funeral home.
