CENTRAL CITY – Willie Loyd Bates, 65, of Central City, died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 11:30AM at his home. Mr. Bates was born November 7, 1945 in Fulton County. He was a member of Powderly Holiness Church. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Bates; sister Lucille Collins of Hukman; brothers Wesley Bates of Houston, TX, Ira Bates of Union City, TN, Rickey Bates of Fulton, and Gilliam Bates of Dyersburg, TN. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 13, 2011 at 11:00AM at Powderly Holiness Church, with Bro. Larry Shemwell officiating. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at Powderly Holiness Church. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
