thoughts during this difficult time. Jan and I are blessed with our friendship with
Bill. We have not seen each other lately, but we always enjoyed our time together.
Sorry we could not be present at the funeral. Jan is recovering from surgery.

Yvonne, John, and Anne,

Our deepest sympathy in Bill's passing and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this time. Bill was a high school and college friend and he will be truly missed by all that knew him.We can all think about the good times we had together and that he is in a better place now. I contacted The Gaston Browns to let them know about this also. We just saw them a couple of weeks ago and talked of coming down to see Bill. We are really sorry that did not happen. Due to other commitments that cannot be changed we are unable to come to the funeral but we will be thinking of you.

Stay in touch.

The lose of a loved one is never easy, sometimes it seem unbearable. Yet God has promised us a way to someday be reunited with those we love.
Although the pain of death never completely goes away, we must also recall all the blessings and love we have received from those we have known in this life. I was blessed with the friendship of Bill.
We send our love and prayers to his family and friends.

Bill was a consummate professional Air Force officer, with whom I worked for many years. He was a straight shooter with a wonderful sense of humor. His many friends and colleagues will miss him and remember his service fondly.

Our deepest condolences on the passing of a great mentor and great American. My wife and I served with General Worthington. In fact, we met while planning his retirement ceremony at Sheppard AFB. While we are grateful for his professional mentorship, we are even more blessed by his genuine kind friendship. We pray that your memories will comfort you during this sad time and always. Much love, David and Jeanne Smith
