GREENVILLE – William Vincent, 92, of Greenville, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital Long Term Care. Mr. Vincent was born May 13, 1925, in Muhlenberg County, the son of John William “J.W.” Vincent and Montie Vincent. He was manager of Stewart’s IGA in Greenville for 40 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Irene Dukes. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Christine Peay Vincent of Greenville; children Bill (Chauncia) Vincent, Dicky (Debra) Vincent, and Carolyn (E.T.) Pendley; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister Hildred Martin of Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be Friday, June 23, 2017, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Joe Chambers officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. BREMEN – William Edward Vincent, 78, of Bremen, died Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 12:45PM at his home. Mr. Vincent was born February 7, 1939, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired UMWA coal miner, and of the Baptist faith. He also loved hunting and horses. He was preceded in death by one brother; seven sisters; and his parents, Lorene and Alphie Vincent. He is survived by his daughters, Cheri Webb of Bremen and Robin Clark of Central City; son William Edward Vincent II of Bremen; grandchildren James Jones, William Derrick Jones, Ace Clark, Krista Stratton, Jamie Jones, and Kerstynn Jones; great-grandchildren Lauren Jones, Ethan Jones, Riley Jones, Vincent Jones, Robin Jones, Lucas Stratton, and Ava Stratton; sister Dianne King; and brother Bobby Joe Vincent. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 13, 2017, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Bill Bursztynski officiating. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
