BELTON – William Earl Fleming, 79, died August 25, 2017 at his home. Mr. Fleming retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Dolton, Illinois, after 30 years. He was born November 20, 1937 in Muhlenberg County, but moved away when he was young. He and his wife lived in the Hammond/Calumet City, Illinois area almost 40 years, and then retired back to Kentucky in 1992. Mr. Fleming was a member of the Calumet City Fishing & Hunting Club and attended Riverside Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Novella Fleming, his brothers Daris Ray and Norman Fleming, and his sister Carlotta Smart. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Sue Hill Fleming, a son Eric Fleming of Griffith, Indiana, and a daughter Paula (Joe) Rodrigues of Belton, KY. In addition, he was blessed with six grandchildren: Branden Camp of Central City, Cullan Fleming of Ames, Iowa, and Connor Fleming, Central City, KY. Three granddaughters: Corrine Rae Camp Taylor of Madisonville, Rheanna Camp of Belton, and Jessica Fleming of Bremen, KY; and one sister, Lequida Westerfield of Hammond, Indiana and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 11 AM at Riverside Missionary Baptist Church in Drakesboro with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Ron Noffsinger and Bro. Todd Cartwright will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2017 after 5 PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, 356 Bradford St., Beechmont, KY.
