CENTRAL CITY – William Edward Daniel was called home on Saturday, November 3, 2012 following a brief illness. Ed was born on November 30, 1929 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner and truck driver. Ed was a Mason of the Masonic Lodge 6743 in Central City, and a member of Corley Chapel General Baptist Church. Ed is survived by seven sons. David(Brenda)Daniel of Weir, Ronnie(Pam)Daniel of Greenville, Bill(Shelia)Daniel of Greenville, Robert Daniel of Powderly, Donnie(Louise)Daniel of Belton, Kenny Daniel of Browder, Michael(Katie)Daniel of South Carrollton, two daughters, Marilyn(Pete)Zaleskas and Sharon(Danny)Young all of Hurst, IL. Twenty four grandchildren, thirty nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. And one brother, Harold (Joyce) Daniel of Moorman, a special friend, Reathel Carter. Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Dollie Mae Hayes Daniel, his parents, Shirley and Ollie Hearld Daniel, one son Lester Daniel, and two daughters, Hester and Carolyn Daniel, a sister, Shirley Mae Fulkerson, two brothers, Butch and J. R. Daniel, one grandson, Wayne Daniel, and one great granddaughter, Alex Young. Ed’s visitation will be at Tucker Funeral Home Monday, November 5, 2012 at 5:00 PM and funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Central City, Bro.
