Linda Kaye, Wendell, Troy, Melinda, Chris, Jonathan, & all of Wendell’s family, I am so sorry for loss of this wonderful man. He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave him the wonderful talent for praying, preaching, singing & playing music. I loved listening to him preach, pray, play music & sing—especially when he was playing & singing with his siblings. If you needed anything, he was more than willing to help you. He was a great carpenter & he could do almost anything that needed doing. He was a fun person to be around and he always said he was never going to grow up—because growing up made people old! We were all so blessed to have this man in our lives and I was so blessed to call him my Uncle. We will miss him forever, but he has fought the good fight, he has finished his course, he has kept the faith & I truly believe that he has a crown of righteousness laid up for him and at the gates of heaven he will hear the words, “well done, my good and faithful servant” Rest in Peace Uncle Wendell, you are finally where you sang about so many times, “Home.”
