GREENVILLE – Wayne Keith Taylor, 70, of Greenville, KY, died Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 11:25AM at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville. Keith was born January 2, 1954.
Although confined to a wheelchair, his wheelchair didn’t represent a seat for a handicapped person but mobility for a Christian ready and willing to serve his Lord. When the sound of his voice filled the air, his God-given talent was obvious. He used no CD, no tape, no music or accompaniment of any kind. He relied only on his voice, an incredibly beautiful voice, as he humbly sang about God’s love and His amazing grace. He never sang to attract personal attention but rather to humbly share his love of Jesus.
At the facility where he was a resident, he embraced a new leadership position, “Resident Council President”. He would proudly present his business cards reflecting this role. This position allowed him to greet guests as well as to continue to serve God.
Keith knew where the light at the end of his life would lead him. Even though his faith was constantly tested, God remained his source of joy and strength. Everyone who knew him was blessed by the purity and conviction of his faith.
