I could never tell all the memories I have of Wayne. He was my buddy and closest friend while in Central City. Even though we were separated after leaving Central City, he was always on my heart and mind. Our prayers are for his dear wife and friend Velma, and for his entire family. May his passing cause you to trust Jesus for encouragement!! If I had known in time I would have been there for his funeral.

Velma, I'm sorry to say it has been years since I've seen you and Wayne; I believe the last time was at my brother Esty's house in Akron. Esty has been gone 3 years already. You are all in my prayers and thoughts and while I do not know each of you personally, I know you through the words and pictures which Terri has shared with me through-out the 11 years I have know Terri. I know through her sharing of fond family expiereces that you all are so very close and that this loss will be hard on each of you and especially hard on my friend Terri. While I know I will never expierence your feelings of sorrow or feel your pain in your fathers, husband and grandfathers loss, I can say that in time the feelings of separation will move forward, As in everything, time will bring you all to a place where you will find it in your hearts to remember the warm smiles, feel the beating of his heart by touching his own and memories, so many happy memories. While I have not lost a parent or husband, I have lost one son (a baby) and my grandparents. While I never had the opportunity to even hold my baby boy, he is named and I see him through his twin sister and his older brothers and this brings me happiness. As for my grandparents, they are not gone either and I remember them every day in the happy memories I have stored and locked away which belong to only me. While your fathers physical body is gone, his spirt and life will live on forever in all of you and this means he is really never gone. Take the time to allow your sorrow and pain to heal and then take the time to carry his spirt and love forward through the happy memories.....
