CENTRAL CITY — Wanelta “Nell” Miller, 85, died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Greenville. She was born on April 11, 1926, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was Aunt Nelta to the Everly Brothers (Don and Phil). She was a Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.A. and Eva Embry of Cleaton; her husband, Robert Paul Miller of Bremen; and two sons, Robert Allen Miller of Holiday, Fla., and Steven Wade Miller. Survivors include a daughter, Diana Sue Taylor of Bremen; a grandson, David Wayne (Theresa) Taylor of West Terre Haute, Ind.; great-grandsons David Steven Taylor and fiancee Melissa Shaw of Louisville, Christopher Scott Taylor of Greenville and Joey Austin Taylor of West Terre Haute; a stepgreat-granddaughter, Samantha Sharp; and a sister, Margaret Everly of Nashville. Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Brother Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Powderly.
