CENTRAL CITY – Wanda McDonald Strader, 86, of Central City, died Monday, December 25, 2017, at 10:17PM at her home. Mrs. Strader was born October 21, 1931, in Muhlenberg County. She was a records clerk at Pennyroyal Mental Health, and a charter member of Temple Baptist Church. She was also a Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Eula McDonald; sisters Ann Pittman and Margaret Jenkins; and nephew Mike Pittman. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, E.J. Strader; niece Janie Pittman McDonald of Owensboro; nephew Bob (Faye) Jenkins of Bremen; and special friends Trudy and Jimmy Moore of Central City. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 28, 2017, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. E.W. Greenwalt officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
