CENTRAL CITY – Virginia L. Rose, 94, of Central City, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 12:20PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Rose was born November 24, 1917 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Nelson Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Rose. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Adler of Central City; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Bozarth of Drakesboro. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Donnie Wilkins officiating, assisted by Rev. Tim Adcock. Burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
