Vickie Powell

Drakesboro – Vickie Powell, 66, of Drakesboro, died Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10:33a.m. at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Mrs. Powell was born September 24, 1959 in Greenville. She was a leg line lead for Purdue, loved flowers, and was a craftswoman skilled at crocheting and cooking. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, where she got to do what she loved most of all; spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jennie Brewer; and her sisters, Wilma Morris and Debbie Brewer.

She is survived by her loving husband, George Powell; her daughter, Chasity (Bobby) Ewing; her son, Ricky (Cara) Powell; her brothers, Ronnie Brewer and William “Chip” Brewer; her grandchildren, Hope, Shelbee, Waylan, Landan, Carli, and Harper; her great-grandchild, Autumn, with second great-grandchild, Corey Lynn Ewing on the way in November 2025; as well as several nieces and nephews.
