BEECH CREEK – Vicki Lynn Woodruff, 61, of Beech Creek, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at 5:17PM at her home. Vicki was born January 7, 1963, in Muhlenberg County. She graduated from Hughes-Kirk High School in 1981. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Vicki was a dental technician for 34 years and retired in 2020. She was part of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program from 2013 – 2019. She was presented and honored with a plaque for Big Sister of the Year in 2017. She enjoyed decorating, and hanging out and spending time with her friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Neal Ray McGinley; mother, Imogene McGinley Proctor; and sister, Pattie Knight.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Clinton Woodruff; and nieces Makenzi and Victoria Knight.

Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 10:00AM at Ebenezer Cemetery with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating. Burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

Even before I ever met Vicki, I had heard of her, a beautiful young girl at HK. My husband grew up in this area and knew the Woodruffs and we raised our children in the same school system. I would see her at the dentist office some and was around her on rare occasions in our neighborhood. Beside her beauty, The one thing that I loved was the way she talked and especially her laugh! I choose to remember that sweet laugh. RIP Vicki. Prayers for Clinton and all her friends and family.

Lots of love and prayers sent to Vicki’s family and friends. She was a childhood and lifelong friend and loved by all in the McClearn family. We all have wonderful memories including Vicki. Her sweet, positive, infectious personality endeared her to everyone she met. A huge hole is left in all our hearts and the light of the world is a little dimmer with her passing.
