WHITE PLAINS – Verta Annetta Foster, 81, of White Plains, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 10:10AM at her residence. Ms. Foster was born on June 6, 1944 in Hopkins County. She was a Homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed going to church. She loved sitting outside under the shade tree, talking and hanging out with her family, and watching her grandchildren play outside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rubin Foster; mother, Lucille Littlepage; father, Robert Littlepage; and all of her sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her children, Carol Oglesby (David), Wesley Foster (Kathy), Kevin Foster (Rita), and Shirley Evitts (Robert); all of her grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Darrell Gates officiating. Burial in Concord Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8PM and Saturday after 8AM at the funeral home.
