BREMEN — Velma Cundiff, 83, of Bremen died at 2:05 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born on April 21, 1927, in Muhlenberg County. She was a factory worker at GE in Owensboro for 30 years and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Howard Cundiff, in 1991. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra (Hershel) Jarvis of Bremen; two grandchildren, LaDonna (Donnie) Abney of Dunmor and Thomas Christopher Jarvis of Bremen; a great-grandchild, William Nathan Abney of Dunmor; and two sisters, Ruth Fulkerson and Ann Pendley, both of Drakesboro. Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Greg Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to South Carrollton Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
