Tracy was a friend and a brother in the Lord. Knew him from years past competing against and with him in sports. He was tough, hard nosed, competitive. Didn’t see him for 20 years. Was asked to go pray with him. He just reminded me of that day on our last visit. That same tough, hard nose, competitive guy who played hard to win every game fought cancer for 14 years with the same fervor. I remember him giving his heart to the Lord. He also reminded me how awesome and great it was the night that he got to share his testimony and life story with everyone at Green River Chapel. How he was so moved afterward at how so many gathered around him and loved him, encouraged and lifted him up. And as much as he loved all those things, his love for his son Trey was so evident. I never had a conversation with him that he didn’t tell me about Trey. Trey he loved you so much! Prayers for Trey, for this family. My heart hurts from the loss of a friend and my brother in Christ. I know that they sing and rejoice in heaven, but if they play any competitive games. Right now he’s beating or trying to beat some one. My brother, you have now beat that cancer, crossed the finish line. Rejoice and enjoy what God has prepared. See you again. Brian.
