GREENVILLE – Timothy Wyatt Staples, 52, of Greenville, went home to see his Heavenly father on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Tim was born on March 25, 1969. He was employed by General Electric for 26 years where he made many life-long friends. Tim was a member of New Paradise Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and youth director for 27 years.

Tim was a faithful and obedient Christian, husband, and father. Tim was married to the love of his life, Kim Warman Staples, for 29 years, and they were blessed with two wonderful children. Tim would always tell his daughter Hannah “Pretty is as pretty does” and instilled in his son Jonah Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Tim taught his family, friends, and youth group to trust and put God first in their lives. One of his favorite verses that he instilled in his family is Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.”

Tim is preceded in death by his mother, Janice Staples; mother-in-law Bonnie Warman; and grandparents Willie C. (Edith) Tabb and Taft (Darolett) Staples.

Tim is survived by his wife, Kim Warman Staples; daughter Hannah (Michael) Walker; son Jonah Staples; father Bernie Staples; brother Josh (Tequia) Staples; father-in-law Tommy Warman; brother-in-law Kaleb Warman; and nieces Abbi and Kira Staples.

Celebration of life services will be Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 5:00PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, with Bro. Tim Adcock officiating. Burial to follow. All friends and family are welcome to attend. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

Tim was there for me through some of the most difficult times in my life, oh my it just breajs my heart. I will never forget hus sense if humor and the time we ate raw koolaid in NPBC Youth Group. Rest Easy Tim.

So very saddened by this loss for your family. I haven’t seen Tim in so many years. We were childhood motorcycle buddies. Great memories of racing up and down Jacksontown Road and jumping hills behind the lake. God is a mighty refuge and solace. So glad to read he taught his family of the Lords love. Praying for peace for you all.

Kim and family I know I never got to meet you but from being Tim’s coordinator for years and working with him for many years till I retired in 2009. From the very first time anyone met Tim you knew right off he was a very sincere Godly Christian man, husband and father. Of all the years I knew him I never saw any negative reactions, no flirtatious moves. This certainly impressed me. This is surly hard to come by in this day and age we are living in. My heart is breaking for you all but we know Tim is in the arms of Jesus. I know you don’t know me but I am only a phone call away any time night or day. 270-836-5830. My prayers are with you. Tim was one of the first people I met when I was hired at GE Aviation about 25 years ago He was a great friend and coworker that entire time He made everyone smile and always had the most positive attitude His attitude was contagious I’m so glad I can call him a friend This world needs more Tim Staples’ I know he made my world a better place

Heaven is richer and this earth is poorer for his loss. Love you all and pray that God wrap you in his comfort while you grieve.

Tim was such an awesome person to be around. I was one of his first trainers when he first was hired on at GE. He was very eager to learn, and soon became one of our best operators. He always had a smile on his face and always had a pleasant spirit about him. As time went on I got to know Tim more and more and the one thing I loved about Tim was his love for God. We talked about God a lot and even shared in a daily Bible study group at GE. Tim will be greatly missed and God added another Angel to his Heavenly family. R.I.H. my friend until we meet again. May God comfort his wife and children and give them everlasting peace.

My heart aches for all the family and friends. I worked around Tim occasionally during my years at GE. He was such a special person with a special smile! Praying for all of you today and the days ahead. Heaven gained a good one!❤️?

Kim I am so deeply sorry for your loss . There are no word to ease the pain . Praying for peace & comfort that only God can bring. I can’t even begin to imagine how you must feel .

Tim I remember some of the days we were in school together at Drakesboro. We pretty much grew up together through school and as we got out of school I lost contact with most of my class mates. I know you will be greatly missed by everyone that knew you but especially your family and I pray for comfort for them as they go through the days ahead. One thing that is reassuring to me is that you had the Lord in your life so we have that promise of seeing our family and friends once again. Not good bye but see you later.

Tim will always be remembered for the loving, caring, and all around awesome person that he was. He has moved on to paradise. But will never leave our hearts.
