CENTRAL CITY – Thurston Lee “King Fish” King, 72, of Central City, KY, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, at Maple Health and Rehabilitation in Greenville. Thurston was born to Susie Loney King and Noah Preston King on March 16, 1949. He was a graduate of Central City High School and was employed by Stafford’s Laundry in Central City until he retired. Thurston loved life and was well-known for his fun sense of humor and his outgoing personality. He was an avid knife and jewelry enthusiast and often enjoyed socializing and trading at the flea market. He was preceded in death by his brother, Noah Lee King; sisters Josie Elaine Snodgrass and Betty Lorene Loney; and his parents.
He is survived by his sister Lynn Noffsinger (Charles Thomas) of Murfreesboro, TN; brother Noah Preston King of Owensboro; and many nieces and nephews.
