Thomas Terry Spurlock, 74, of Greenville, passed away Thursday September 7^th, 2023 after a brief illness. Mr. Spurlock was born February 25, 1949. He is survived by his wife, Sue; daughter, Jessica (Denny); son, Justin (Shannon); son, Benjamin (Ashley); and grandsons, Julian and Finn.

A Purple Heart recipient, Tom bravely served his country in the Vietnam War. After starting in the coal mines, he retired from a successful career with TVA. He loved to spend time with family, play golf, tell stories and crack jokes to anyone who’d listen. In retirement, he loved watching old western movies while enjoying a Diet Coke and a smoke. He was full of personality and lived his life to the fullest by his rules.

Graveside Services will be held at Old Jackson Cemetery in Greenville, KY on Monday September 11, 2023 at noon with Bro. Steven Latham officiating. Burial to follow. I just learned of Tom's passing. I first meet him in 1996 at TVA when we came onboard as a contractor firm. We grew to be good friends. Played golf together, with my financial background I found it difficult to teach him how to count.......a requirement for completing the scorecards. Really liked Tom, we had so much good fun. I know his family will miss him. May all y'all be blessed and comforted.

Tom was great friend, colleague, and mentor. I will always cherish him for the impact he had on my life. RIP my friend. I would also ask God to provide comfort to your family. Thank you all for sharing Tom with us, he was a great man.

I worked with Tom many years, we finished our careers at Kingston , Tn. on the ash spill. Played many game of golf together. Tom was a true Friend and Colleague. He will be missed. Prayers for his Family.

My husband Sam Loy worked with Tom at TVA.... Sam passed away in 2021... I am so sorry for , God be with you in this time of sorrow ..
