BEECH CREEK – Teresa Lynn Hamby Blake, 69, of Beech Creek, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at 6:00PM at VA Medical Center in Lexington. Mrs. Blake was born October 18, 1951, in Muhlenberg County. She was a private sitter and of the Christian faith. She was also a U.S. Army veteran. Teresa enjoyed reading, history, and she loved horses and dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marjorie Hamby; and brothers Gene Hamby and Jimmy Hamby. She is survived by her husband, Robert Blake; sister June (Charles) Vincent; her beloved dogs; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside funeral services will be Friday, January 8, 2021, at 1:00PM at Skipworth Cemetery in Rosewood, with burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
