Ted H. Kennedy BEECHMONT — Ted H. Kennedy, 76, of P.O. Box 143, Beechmont, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, April 25, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was born Oct. 19, 1932, in Logan County. He was a retired construction worker and a Korean War veteran. Survivors include his wife, Myrtie Owens Kennedy of Beechmont; three sons, John (Judy) Kennedy of Loudon, Tenn., Robert (Jan) Kennedy of Philadelphia, Tenn., and Keith (Melia) Kennedy of Beechmont; a daughter, Cindy Garrett of Beechmont; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. today in Union Ridge Cemetery, with the Rev. Terry Chaney officiating. Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. today at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home.
