CENTRAL CITY – Steven Todd Mercer, 60, of Central City, died Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mr. Mercer was born June 17, 1964 in Muhlenberg County. He was a member of Central City First Baptist Church. He enjoyed music, WKU Sports, UK Basketball, and Alabama Football. He graduated from Central City High School in 1982 and Western Kentucky University in 1987. He was a member of the Central City Lions Club. He worked at Logan Aluminum, and SMR Engineering and Environmental Services. He is preceded in death by his wife, Tabitha Gibson Mercer; parents, Kenneth N. Mercer, and Kaye Revo Mercer; and grandparents, Raymond and Nell Mercer, and Ted and Lucille Revo.

He is survived by his brother, Mike (Gloria) Mercer; nieces, Whitney Mercer (Ty) Dillingham, and Terra Huddleston; and several uncles and aunts.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Dr. Chase Thompson officiating assisted by Dr. Jeff Elieff. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10AM-1PM at the funeral home.
