CLEATON- Silas James Vincent, 61, of Cleaton died Friday, March 9, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Vincent was born on October 5, 1957. He was the owner of Vincent’s Recycling and Auto Salvage and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Vincent loved his family and had special relationships with his grandchildren. Some of his hobbies, that turned into his business, was rebuilding old trucks. He loved to fish with his friends and ride four-wheelers. He is preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and James Vincent; brothers, Steven and Jessie Vincent; sisters, Kathy and Doris Vincent. Survivors include his spouse, Gladys; daughters, Tonya (Ryan) Steele of Auburn and Jamie Bellamy of Owensboro; grandchildren, Kelsey, Zachary, Laycee, Madison, Eli, Amber, Ciara, Dewayne, Sarah, Sarena; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Bryant of Greenville; sister, Jenny Bailey. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial will follow in Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
