BREMEN- Shirley Ray Hancock, 89, of Bremen died Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Ms. Hancock was born in Barboursville, KY on March 6, 1937. She was a nurse aide for Belle Meade Nursing Home and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bremen. Ms. Hancock enjoyed gardening, dancing (square dancing, clogging, and two stepping). She is preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Hancock; siblings, Flora Helen Hunter, Gynell Chandler, Edward Hampton, Roy Hampton, Tommy Hampton.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Hancock; sons, Dwayne (Kristie) Hancock, William Hancock; grandchildren, Marisa Hancock, Lauren (Timmy) Maypray; great grandchildren, Aydin Hancock, Timmy Maypray Jr., Sayla Maypray, Anthony Maypray.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 beginning at 10 AM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
