Shirley Brown Batsel Shirley Brown Batsel, 71, of White Plains died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was a homemaker and member of Green River Chapel General Baptist Church in Central City. Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Kinney, Gloria Walley and Chasity Ellis; two brothers, J.W. Brown and Carl Brown; and five sisters, Anna Jean Randall, Mildred Stirsman, Margaret Robinson, Geraldine Doss and Phyllis Noffsinger. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial: Fairmount Cemetery in Central City. Visitation: After 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
