GREENVILLE – Shirley Ann Bozell, 77, died Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 4:12AM at her residence in Greenville. Mrs. Bozell was born August 15, 1946 in Madisonville. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a Respiratory Therapist for more than forty years at Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman and Elogine Davis; children, Sherry Gish, and Mindy Bozell; and brother, Lawrence Davis.

She is survived by her husband, James Bozell; children, Danielle (Steven) Tompkins, Jamie (AJ) Bozell, Billy Jo Bozell, Bobbie Jo (Scott) Grace, and Christopher (Ashley) Bozell; twenty grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Somers; and brother, Paul (Tracy) Davis.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 11, 2023 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. James Watkins officiating. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10AM-1PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

I had so much fun working with Shirley, we sure had some laughs doing a difficult job. I could always count on Shirley to have my back when everything seemed to be falling apart and was there for me when I was going through a very hard time in my life.
