CENTRAL CITY – Sherry Lynn Mayhugh, 64, of Central City, died Sunday, January 5, 2020, at 2:42PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Mayhugh was born April 27, 1955, in Daviess County. She was a homemaker and member of New Testament Christian Church. She loved quilting and helping others. She was very involved in her church, helping with bulletins and transportation. She enjoyed her flowers and scrapbooking. Her other hobbies included photography, and sending letters to the homebound with words of encouragements. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Glenola Cummings. She is survived by her husband, William Davis Mayhugh; sons Christopher (Felicia) Mayhugh of Central City and Steven (Jasmine) Mayhugh of North Benton, Ohio; grandchildren Payton D. Mayhugh, Bella L. Mayhugh, Phoenix Smith, Heaven Smith, and McCoy Jarvis; brother Kelly Cummings; and niece Casey Cummings. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. George Carmen officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
