BREMEN – Sherry Ann Hammonds, 61, of Bremen died Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Ms. Hammonds was born in Logan County on February 9, 1965. She was a Homemaker and enjoyed going to thrift stores and gossiping on the phone with her nephew, B.J. She loved spending time with her grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rebecca and William Stanley; and brothers, Tomal and William Stanley.

She is survived by her husband, Joey Hammonds; daughters, Robin Mofield, and Felicia Lewellen; son, John (Lanora) Lewellen; granddaughter, Hailey Robinson; grandsons, Carson Vincent, and Gabriel Case; great-grandson, Kason Lindsay; and brothers, Billy (Charline) Stanley, Jason (Brenda) Stanley, and Josh (Charlene) Stanley; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 6, 2026 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jeremy Taylor officiating. Burial in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8PM and Monday after 8AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
