To the Family, Sorry for the loss of Gene. I've known Gene for over 37 years and neighbors with him for 30 years. He was always working, loved logging and his dogs along the way. He was compassionate about logging and log prices and would always let us know when logs needed to go up in price! I purchased logs from him for many years with the Perry's and he was a good supplier. He treated me well as a neighbor and we helped each other at times. He will be missed, prayers for all of you. God Bless.

My dear uncle Gene will be missed. He was such a fun, kind man. Uncle Gene loved to tease us kids when we were young. I can recall a time being young & me & cousin Corinna both had long hair. Well, uncle Gene tied our hair together & dropped us both on a bouncy bed & we thought our hair was going to come out of our heads! Uncle Gene was like that, he was always teasing us! He would buy us a candy bar & pop. I will miss him coming to visit us. My mom died recently (his sister Lula) & I know they both are together now in heaven. I appreciate all the love & care uncle Gene received from those who took care of him whether it was aunt Ruby & Bobby or the nursing home. Thank you! Uncle Gene will always be in my heart. Love, Benita
