Shelby Gene Adcock CENTRAL CITY — Shelby Gene Adcock, 72, of Central City died Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at Maple Manor Health Care in Greenville. He was a retired coal miner and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Central City. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Peeler Adcock; four sons, David Adcock, Tim Adcock, Matt Adcock and Bob Casey; three daughters, Theresa Nichols, Michellee Cornette and Cindy Wood; a brother, Allen Adcock; and two sisters, Ann and Beverly Adcock. Services: 2 p.m. today at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
