CENTRAL CITY – Scotty Ray Stewart, 48, of Central City, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026 in Powderly, KY. Mr. Stewart was born July 12, 1979 in Muhlenberg County to Edward Buck and Patsy Stewart. Scotty helped out at Breakthrough Base, getting donations for the community. Scotty’s hobbies were listening to rock music and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Buck and Patsy Stewart; and nephew, Patrick Baxter.

He is survived by his three children, Selena Stewart, Billy Stewart, and Stormy Stewart; six grandchildren; brothers, John Stewart, Charles Stewart; sister, Tammy Butterworth; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Zack Banks officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10AM at the funeral home.
