what wonderful memories esp. when we were little tots not snots growing up in the methodist church. my grandmother eunice carver would share with me beautiful stories about ms sarah belle and mr guy garst. pop carver said when guy gave his heart to the Lord those many years ago,my pop and guy cried, shouted and danced. would have loved to see that! our little town and hearts will never be the same without ms sarah belle. her family has made a difference in this world. love kim duvall

Sarah Belle, Gloria Bell. I used to get the two Belle's mixed up. Why, they were "Miss Rachel"s" daughter and daughter-in-law. Miss Rachel was our next door neighbor, so one of them was always there a lot. I always enjoyed seeing Sarah Belle, she was a great lady and was married to my 2nd cousin, Jr. Patterson. We will all miss her.

I met Mrs. Patterson during Christmas 2007 while visiting my brother Joel Pickett and his wife Sharron. She welcomed me into her home and treated me like I was a member of the family. She was a beautiful soul and I hope her family keeps her memory alive by honoring it and staying close to each other. So often one member of a family keeps it together. Sarah Belle was the first person to greet us when we came to Sacramento twenty-three years ago to see where we would be living. She made us feel welcome and a part of the family from the very first moment. We have since moved to other parts of the state but she always welcomed us back with open arms when we came to visit. She has left a great legacy in her beautiful children, grandchildren and great-grandchilren. We love you and will miss seeing your smiling face.
