Sarah Belle, Gloria Bell. I used to get the two Belle's mixed up. Why, they were "Miss Rachel"s" daughter and daughter-in-law. Miss Rachel was our next door neighbor, so one of them was always there a lot. I always enjoyed seeing Sarah Belle, she was a great lady and was married to my 2nd cousin, Jr. Patterson. We will all miss her.

I met Mrs. Patterson during Christmas 2007 while visiting my brother Joel Pickett and his wife Sharron. She welcomed me into her home and treated me like I was a member of the family. She was a beautiful soul and I hope her family keeps her memory alive by honoring it and staying close to each other. So often one member of a family keeps it together. God bless you all and peace and love to you.

What a great lady!! Mrs. Sarah Belle always had a smirky smile for me and a encouraging word, she reminded me of who i was and what was expected of me. A stern woman with a soft side. A cornerstone at the United Methodist Church!!

Sarah Belle was the first person to greet us when we came to Sacramento twenty-three years ago to see where we would be living. She made us feel welcome and a part of the family from the very first moment. We have since moved to other parts of the state but she always welcomed us back with open arms when we came to visit. She has left a great legacy in her beautiful children, grandchildren and great-grandchilren. We love you and will miss seeing your smiling face.
