POWDERLY – Sarah Allison Spears, 66, of Powderly, died Monday, February 24, 2025 at 6:53AM at her residence. Ms. Spears was born June 16, 1958 in Muhlenberg County. She retired as the City Clerk from the City of Powderly. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being outdoors in spring and summer either swimming or gardening. She was always honest to others and kindhearted. She enjoyed collecting antiques, quilting, or just relaxing at home with a cup of coffee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyce and Clarence Rice; brother, Mark Rice; sister, Julie Bilyeu; and husband, Timothy Spears.

She is survived by her son, Anthony (DeeAnn) Spears; sister, Melissa Vincent; brother, Greg Rice; grandson, Jackson Wade Spears; granddaughter, Hannah Faith Bray; and significant other, David Ingram.
