CENTRAL CITY – Sandra Lee Piper, 49, of Central City, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 7:17PM at her home. Mrs. Piper was born June 1, 1962 in McLean County. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Cleo Stephens Sr., and brothers, Cleo Stephens, Jr., and Earl Stephens. Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bobby” Piper; sons Robert (Shanna) Piper and Michael (Jenny) Piper; daughter Debbie (Josh) Vaughn; grandchildren Jaclyn Braem, Jonathan DeArmond, Sierra Piper, Stephanie Piper, Sarah Piper, Keesha Spurlin, Curtis Spurlin Jr., and Aaron Piper; mother Hazel Stanley; brothers Garlin Stephens of Pickins, SC, Jeffery (Tracey) Stephens of Greenville, Randy (Nancy) Stephens of Hopkinsville, Steven (Jessica) James of White Plains, and Timothy Stephens of Pickins, SC; and sisters Mary O’Hara of Powderly, Faye (Bruce) Crick of White Plains, Charlene Stephens of Bowling Green, and Delta (Billy) Drake of Madisonville. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Mike DeArmond officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
