DRAKESBORO – Sandra Jane Willoughby, 60, of Drakesboro, died Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Ms. Willoughby was born in Greenville on May 24, 1966. She was a member of Nelson Creek Missionary Baptist Church and worked for the Greenville Library as a Librarian. She loved the Lord, life, and her precious grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Griffin; and in-laws, Edward and Louise Willoughby.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Willoughby; children, Kevin Willoughby, II (Jennifer Drake), Jordan Willoughby (Elisabeth), and Josh Griffin; mother, Carolyn Gregory; grandchildren, Blakely, Jace, Charlie, and Ledger; siblings, Michael, Sharon, Billy, Melissa, Jason, and Timmy; and half-sister, Kathy.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jared Baker officiating. Burial in Nelson Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at 10AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

Carolyn & family. I’m still numb from the news of the loss of my dear friend Sandra! Heaven has gained one of the most wonderful souls to ever have walked her on earth! I thought of her as a kid sister! She’s gonna be missed so much cause she was loved by so many! I only wish I could’ve been there today as u lay her to rest. She’d was a rare gem of a person. She loved her God, her family, her church family, friends, country & job.. She was ago sweet, timid & respectful to everyone she met. Her love for her God & family being her most precious. I’m so fortunate to have met her & her been a part of my life as a friend & Christian Sister! Sending u all my love, prayers and will be keeping u in my thoughts for the difficult days ahead. May the Lord give u the strength & comfort especially today but also each & every day! Love u all. RIP my Dear Friend Sandra! You r definitely loved & missed!

Sandra was a sweet and beautiful person. She will be missed by many.

Sandra was such an important link to the outside world for me. She helped by finding quite a number of interlibrary loan books during those times. She was a great asset to our county library! I know will be missed by family, friends, and library patrons!

I spent my childhood at the library and she was always there with a smile for me. She will be missed.
