Samuel Earl Garrett CENTRAL CITY — Samuel Earl Garrett, 72, of Central City died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Ill. He was a cook. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Price Garrett; children Walter Garrett, Samuel Garrett Jr., Susan Bevil, LuAnn Eaves, David Garrett and Gary Garrett; three stepsons, Roger Scroggins, Jason Scroggins and Michael Scroggins; a sister, Jean Brewer; and two brothers, Walter Garrett and John Garrett Jr. Services: 10 a.m. today at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial: Jago Cemetery.
