Please accept my sympathy on Sammy's passing. He was always such a cute little guy with such a big smile. Sammy and Rodger were always full of so much energy and the apple of Albert and Dee's eyes.

Sammy, I will never forget the times we shared before, during & after work. With all of your stories & antics there was never a dull moment when you were around. Always making people laugh & you could lighten the mood when tension could be cut with a razor. I will always remember M.E.T. training when we laughed so much, you almost got us thrown out of the class. Well I guess I had some to do with that too. Thanks for the memories & being there to lend an ear when I needed someone to vent to and most of all just being my friend. Also thanks for teaching me how to be a better coal miner. Everyone at "The Boot" is going to miss you, especially me my brother! & yes we will "Make er' Smoke"

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Carolyn, Sammy was my bestest childhood friend.......most of the best memories of my childhood, Sam is in. We spent lots of hours together setting tobacco and doing "farm stuff". I so enjoyed seeing him again a few weeks ago. I can't hardly believe he's gone. And I can't imagine the pain you are feeling now. I wish I could help carry your load. All my love my friend, Norma
