My papaw will always hold a special place in my heart! As the oldest grandchild, papaw always looked out for me. He always made sure I had a way to church each/every service! Some say he was set in his ways. Actually he just had his way of doing things. I was a young teenager before I realized that your old vehicles were not storage sheds. I’ll never forget when dad bought papaw a new storage building. There was one problem though he set the new building on papaw’s burn spot. So the building had to be moved. Papaw would also make sure I had a way to go on all the family vacations & never asked me for a dime. I went to the mountains 13 times with them & will never forget those memories! One last memory I will never forget is when Papaw got his new Red/White Ford truck. Some of my cousins talked me into carving my name on the tailgate. I often wandered what would have happened if I would have wrote “Angie” instead of “Keith”. Papaw you will be missed forever, but never forgotten! Keith
