DRAKESBORO – Ruby Joyce Smith, 75, of Drakesboro, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 7:20PM at Maple Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Smith was born August 11, 1935 in Muhlenberg County. She was a retired nurse. Survivors include her sons, Finis Pendley Jr. of Moorman and Wadson Pendley of Powderly; daughter Nelda Johnson of Drakesboro; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother Freddy Smith of Central City; and sister Lois Groves of Island. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Ronnie Henderick officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. BELTON-Ruby Nell Smith, 86, of Belton, died on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 9:21 PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born December 19, 1931 in Muhlenberg County. Ruby was a member of Mt. Moriah Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Mearl Smith; daughter, Brenda Smith; two sons, Mitchell Smith and Nathan Smith. She is survived by one son, Donald Smith; two daughters, Rhonda Smith and Patricia Heltsley; 8 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; several Great-Great-Grandchildren; and 5 Sisters.
