BEECK CREEK – Ruby R. Penrod, 85, of Beech Creek, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 2:23AM at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN. Mrs. Penrod was born June 16, 1927 in McLean County. She built airplane parts for General Electric. She never missed a day of work in 22 years, and was a QC inspector. She loved boating, lived for family and doing anything with family, and loved to gamble and going to the Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her brother, Vollie “Joe” Penrod. Survivors include her daughters, Sherry R. (Glen) Harrison of Clarksville; Rita A. Walker of Joelton, TN; and Kathy J. Penrod of Ashland City, TN; son Robert S. (Janine) Penrod of Omaha, NE; very special extended family Mirko M. (Shari) Messinger and Allen (Gaby) Messinger; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 10:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Tony Daley officiating. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Butler County.
