CENTRAL CITY – Ruby Nell Wilcox, 91, of Central City, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 11:54AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital.  Mrs. Wilcox was born May 26, 1934, in Muhlenberg County.  She was a bookkeeper for Muhlenberg County School System, and a member of First Baptist Church in Central City.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Wilcox; brother, Glen Johnson; and sisters, Jean Johnson and Carlene Dockery.

She is survived by her children, Eddie (Amy) Wilcox, Patty Williams, and Cammie (Will) Grant; grandchildren, Katie Williams and Lee Williams; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Ella, and Eden.

Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 3:30PM at Pine Grove Cemetery in South Carrollton, with Dr. Chase Thompson officiating.  Burial to follow.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Gideons International.  Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
