Roy ‘Froggie’ Lyons SACRAMENTO — Roy Froggie Lyons, 77, of Sacramento died there. He was born March 25, 1932, in McLean County, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, attended Station Baptist Church and was employed at Kentucky Utilities Auxiliary Operation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Lyons, in 2006. Survivors include two sons, Roy L. Lyons and Rondall Lyons, both of Sacramento; a daughter, Shelia Hendricks of Sacramento; six grandchildren, Jeremy Hendricks, Alison Hendricks, Tabitha Lyons, Nicholas Lyons, Justin Austin and April Lyons; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Percy and Clayton Percy; two brothers, Truman Lyons of Owensboro and Jimmy Lyons of Danville; and three sisters, Elsie Dean Hobgood and Sara Bowling, both of Owensboro, and Jean Hobgood of Greenville. Services are 1 p.m. Sunday at Tucker Memorial Chapel, Sacramento, with the Rev. Danny Greene officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery, Bremen. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
