Robert Miller Walker GREENVILLE — Robert Miller Walker, 91, of Greenville died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 2009, at the home of Harry and Linda Lou Thomason in Fairfield, Ill. He was born June 19, 1917, in Richmond, Ind. He was a former teacher at Central City High School and Greenville High School and a former band director at Central City High School. He was a member of First Christian Church in Greenville. Survivors include two sons, Jim (Paulette) Walker of Oak Park, Calif., and Tommy (Karen) Walker of Cazenovia, N.Y.; a daughter, Becky (Royce) Carter of Fairfield, Ill.; and six grandchildren, Kip, Erin, Preston and Shai Walker, David Carter and Eric (Merrin) Carter. Services are at 2 p.m. today at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Craig Scott officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation is after noon today at the funeral home.
