I want to take this opportunity to say that I am very humbled to have known this man. I met Robert as I was working as a teenager and then well into my 30's, as a shift manager at Pizza Hut. I knew him to be a very charismatic man and so kind hearted. The staff at Pizza Hut would enjoy him coming in and sitting with us and telling stories about his day. He had the most genuine smile. He made your day just as soon as he walked in the door to visit. Robert made such an impression on me as a young person and learning about how the public could really impact you. Even after he stopped visiting so much, I enjoyed the opportunity to get to know his brother, Carl, as he would call in orders for Robert to he delivered to him. I have been honored to be a part in Robert's life. God bless.

Dear Robert, I came to know you through my son-in-law, Sovi, but in that time, you became dear to my heart. Your warmth, your joy, and the way you lifted Sovi with hope and love made you unforgettable to me. Thank you for the light you brought into his life—and through him, into ours. Though you are no longer with us, I rejoice in knowing you are now with the Lord, whole and at peace. You will be remembered with love and gratitude always. With love, Mercy Edavettal
