Robert ‘Butch’ Tucker 1/20/2009 POWDERLY — Robert Butch Tucker, 55, of Powderly died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was born Sept. 18, 1953, in Muhlenberg County. He was a coal equipment operator for Kentucky Utilities for 27 years, a member of Powderly Baptist Church, president of local steel workers and a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Tucker. Survivors include his wife, Donna Wells Tucker of Powderly; a son, Patrick Tucker of Powderly; a daughter, Stephanie (Billy) Evitts of Greenville; a granddaughter, Maggie Evitts; two stepgrandchildren, Adrianna Workman and Parker Evitts; his mother, Jewell Pat Tucker of Greenville; and a sister, Kim (Eddie) Hundley of Greenville. Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Larry Fitzhugh officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Powderly.
