I am Les & Della Cornett's youngest daughter, Chris. While I have not had the opportunity to see Uncle Rob or his family in many years due to our distant gepgraphical locations, I have wonderful memories of both Rob & Ettie, and it was with great sadness I heard of their respective passings. Rob was too ill to attend Mom's funeral in Feb. 2009, but he called us to express his own love of Mom, and his own mourning for her loss. He also expressed his caring support for Dad, and strove to keep in in touch with Dad since that time, demonstrating he was the same sweet and caring man that I knew in our younger days. My Dad & sister Lona asked me to also express their great sadness in the loss of Rob, whom they both loved dearly. Regrettably Dad will be unable to make the trip to attend Rob's funeral, but please be sure that his & Mom's family with be with you all in their heart as you say this temporary goodby to your Dad.
