GREENVILLE – Robert Keith Blake of Greenville entered into eternity on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Known as Taters to many friends, Keith was an avid hunter and fisherman who cherished time outdoors with family and friends.
A 1976 graduate of Hughes-Kirk High School, Keith was a standout athlete for the Tigers, competing in basketball and baseball from 1972 through 1976. In basketball, he scored 1,232 points and collected over 1,000 rebounds, recording a career-high 32 points twice, and had 25 rebounds eight times.
Keith was married for 49 years to his high school sweetheart, Terri Lynn Luckett Blake. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary Newman Blake; brothers, Mike, Danny, and Terry; grandparents, Rev. Willie and Annie Blake and W.A. and Willie Newman; brother-in-law, Hugh Bunch; nephews, Jason and David Blake, and Presley Hall; niece, Kimberly Meadows; and mother-in-law, Mary Luckett Eddings.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Lynn Blake; children, Scott (Kecia), Jeremy (Andrea), and Sarah Beth Neal; brother, Joe Blake; sisters, Barbara Bunch, Sherry (Jerry) Rickman and sisters-in-law, Peggy Blake, Anita Eddings, and Michelle (Rick) Peterson; grandchildren, Austin Neal, Kaitlyn Neal, Macklan Blake, Hudson Blake, and Bailey Blake; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Keith will be remembered for his faith, love of family, and passion for hunting, fishing, and lifelong friendships.
Funeral visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2026 from 10AM-1PM at Hazel Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Belton. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
